Helen is immediate past-President of the Australasian Society
for Computers in Learning in Tertiary Education and is Head
of the Centre for Educational Development and Interactive
Resources at the University of Wollongong, Australia. Helen's
research interest has primarily revolved around educational
design and she has recently completed a second masters in
educational leadership focusing on the management and governance
issues surrounding the organisation of e-learning and e-teaching
in the higher education sector. She is concerned with demonstrating
educational effectiveness and consciously promotes conversation
in higher education concerning useful strategies and techniques
in making good educational materials.
